Operational Excellence in Digital Infrastructure through the Collaboration of Eşarj and Basistek!

With consulting support from Basistek Information Technologies, the IBM Instana Observability platform deployed across Eşarj’s application layers provides real-time monitoring across its large-scale infrastructure and customer-facing digital channels, delivering significant improvements in operational efficiency and customer experience.
As one of Türkiye’s first and most extensive electric vehicle charging network operators, Eşarj is powering the future with more than 2,200 charging sockets, over 80% of which are DC fast chargers. Seeking to further enhance efficiency while delivering the highest level of customer experience, Eşarj aims to achieve operational excellence through this project.
The key benefits of the project can be summarized under the following headings:
End-to-End (Full-Stack) Visibility:
Through Instana’s automated discovery capabilities, all dependencies across Eşarj’s application and infrastructure layers have been mapped in real time.
Customer Experience Optimization:
With Instana’s mobile application and web monitoring capabilities, even the slightest slowdown or error in the Eşarj Mobile user interface is detected instantly, helping ensure an uninterrupted charging experience for drivers.
Rapid Issue Detection and Resolution (MTTD & MTTR):
Through AI-powered observability, system anomalies are detected without the need for manual intervention. By improving issue detection and resolution times by up to 70%, the platform enables Eşarj teams to respond to incidents proactively rather than reactively.
Infrastructure Reliability:
The health of Eşarj’s nationwide charging station network and its supporting backend services is safeguarded through Instana’s automated dependency mapping capabilities.
Operational Efficiency and Scalability:
As the Eşarj network continues to grow, Instana’s configuration-free architecture enables newly added stations and services to be incorporated into the monitoring system instantly. This reduces the workload of operational teams while supporting the system’s sustainable scalability.
